Consumer Reports has released their 2007 State of the Net survey results.  According to the survey, 8% of respondents admitted to being fooled by a phishing scheme.  The magazine estimates that phishing resulted in $2.1 billion in total economic losses.

It's hard to say what these figures are telling us, beyond the general "phishing is still a problem, it costs big money, and many people continue to fall victim."  But we already knew all that.
